RGV is the permanent companion of controversy. But besides this, his films on real life crime and criminals have always hit the bull’s eye. His upcoming film Killing Veerappan based on yesteryear sandalwood smuggler late Veerappan is making huge buzz.
This was initially scheduled to release by the 4th of December but however Veerappan’s wife Muttulakshmi was filed a petition against RGV requesting for the ban on the release claiming that the film is defaming her husband. But RGV reasserted that the film was made with Mutthu Lakshmi’s prior consent and even questioned her U-turn.
Now after a series of discussions, RGV tweeted as follows –
“Problems with Mutthulakshmi regarding Killing Veerappan have been amicably settled. Film is releasing on 11th December”.
Finally at the end of a bit of suspense, Killing Veerappan is going to hit the screens next week and we have to wait and watch how many more controversies it would trigger after its release!
Anything can be possible with RGV!
