After the debacle of Aagadu, Srinu Vaitla wanted to make a wise move next and thereby announced his next project with Mega Powerstar Ram Charan named Bruce Lee. He announced that the film will be a mass entertainer with every aspect of fun needed for a common Telugu film goer.
In fact, Bruce Lee was a testing time for Ram Charan as well because his earlier flick Govindudu Andari Vadele was a flop and he was keen on scoring a hit to get back in the race. The makers of Bruce Lee made all possible arrangements for the film to be a big blockbuster- including roping in Chiranjeevi for a smart cameo. Despite the audio getting good response and trailers being impressive, the film could not fetch satisfactory returns. As a result, many buyers all over India as well as overseas faced losses.
Ram Charan apparently came to know about this and keeping his personal disappointment aside, he returned a part of his remuneration as per his Dad’s advice. The actor reacted in a very balanced manner without getting bogged down by failure.
The Mega Powerstar is currently holidaying in USA with family and will join the shooting of anticipated Thani Oruvan remake once he is back next month.
