Mega Powerstar Ram Charan’s latest action entertainer Bruce Lee might have opened with positive talk because of Chiranjeevi’s biggest comeback on silver screen but as time passed by, the film got down due to pale content, routine comedy and lack of punch in the storyline.
In fact, the reviewers criticized the film saying except for Chiranjeevi’s cameo, the remaining film is mediocre. Some even felt that the film's title as Bruce Lee has nothing to do with the legendary martial artist- turning to be another biggest disappointment.
This left Bruce Lee to do average business even considering the festival season in account. But the producers of the film are clever enough to seal the deal with DTH rights even before it was released! Zee Telugu has acquired Bruce Lee for a good amount of 12 crores which includes the audio rights and even the Hindi dubbing rights as well.
In this way, the makers of Bruce Lee are in safe zone and they can breathe easy for the decent DTH business it has made! However, the biggest loss is incurred by Zee TV because the film couldn't do a good business and now the TRP ratings for Bruce Lee's viewership on TV would be a big question!
