'Musically Innovating'- Jil Audio Review

Jil is an upcoming action entertainer starring Gopichand and Raashi Khanna in lead roles. Music for the film is composed by Run Raja Run fame Ghibran and here is an exclusive audio review of the album that is already out in the web:

The album begins on a fiery note with a racy composition Man on Fire. The thumping electric guitars, sequencing and Hard Rock styled presentation creates a brilliant listening ambience. The interludes sustain the power packed energy with good vigor.

Jil Jil Jil Manase is a breezy track with trance beats, string section and a mild dose of classicism coupled with a symphony. Yazin Nazir and Shalmali Kholgade deliver par excellence with their relaxed vocals. There are timely Jazz touches throughout the composition giving it an excellent flavor.

The exploration instinct continues with Swing Swing Swing by the popular rap vocalist Blaaze. The House mix sequencing gives the track an international flavor and a party atmosphere.  The steady rhythm programming makes the listener get into the groove effortlessly.

Yemaindhi Ee Vela arrives in the form of a feel good duet with excellent bass work,  impressive vocals and the Country styled string section. Popular singer Clinton and Sharanya Gopinath do an incredible job with their superior vocals.

The album arrives to a finale with Pori Masala Pori with a fusion Punjabi flavor having House Mix rhythm section, timely piano touches and thumping rhythm. It retains the high energy levels of the album with great ease and perfection. However, the track is quite in international style instead of having the indigenous flavor.

Verdict:
Jil is a promising and experimental album from Ghibran. He proves yet again that an album can have commercial elements along with great musical innovation. However, the album lacks essential indigenous factor which is a fetching point for masses.
