Chinnadana Neekosam is an upcoming romantic film starring Nithin and Mishti Chakraborty in lead roles. Music for the film is composed by Anoop Rubens, who gave some memorable hit albums like Ishq, Gundejaari Gallanthayindhe and Heart Attack for hero Nithin earlier. Here is an exclusive audio review of the album:
The breezy album begins with title song Chinnadana Neekosam which has instant likeability factor. The thumping rhythm section, energetic vocals by Raja Hasan and feel good lyrics by Krishna Chaitanya add to the fun element. However, the track has de-ja-vu of Anoop’s earlier compositions.
The pace is increased with a groovy number Ooh La La sung by the composer Anoop himself. The stylish electric guitars, real live drumming and interesting sequencing make it a trendy hearing. The peculiar chord progression fusion with fantastic classical flute is another highlight for the composition.
Everybody Chalo (All I Wanna Say) is another composition high on energy with gripping chorus and confident voice of Jaspreet Jass. The lyrics speak of social responsibility and human philosophy in incredible style.
Another party number Dil Dil Dil sung by Rahul Sipligunj arrives next. This track has a strange resemblance with hit Bollywood number Badtameez Dil from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani in terms of orchestration and trumpet usage. However, the interludes retain the Anoop touch with melodious guitar.
Mundhugane is a laid back melody in the midst of breezy piano, neat chord progressions and harmonica. The velvety voice of Ramya Behara paves the way for a beautiful female solo. The mild trance ambience is created with good mastery.
The album arrives to a finale with Albeli Albeli with progressive trance intermixed with paced up rhythm section. The composition is greatly fun filled and enjoyable with cow boy styled presentation in terms of lyrics as well as the music.
Verdict:
Chinnadana Neekosam is another feel good album from Anoop Rubens. The track are pleasant and high on melodious value- without compromising on the entertainment factor.
