Eminent director, illustrator and painter Sattiraju Lakshmi Narayana popularly known as Bapu (80) breathed his last an hour ago at Malar Hospital, Chennai. The legendary film personality has been suffering from serious health issues from a while and unfortunately, he breathed his last apparently due to cardiac arrest.
This popular cartoonist has turned director with Sakshi in 1967. Later, he along with his good friend Ramana gifted many classics like Mutyala Muggu, Bhakta Kannappa, Pelli Pustakam, Mr. Pellam and many more. His last film was Sri Rama Rajyam in 2011.
