It is known news that the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma is trying to come up with new concepts and formulae to create a parallel cinema industry within Tollywood. The foundation of that lies on low costs, collective investments etc. But now, a group has come up with another doubt regarding this proposal.
As per Ramu, the team of a film is expected to offer their services and they will get their payments post the release based on the performance of the film at the box office. The question being raised is - isn’t that going to affect the remunerations because there is no guarantee on how profit is going to be incurred? (and whether it is going to be incurred or not).
At the same time, nobody would be sure of how much they would be getting. So how appealing is that measurable for an individual to come forward and associate with RGV? In a mainstream pattern, the remunerations and numbers are fixed and hence there is more clarity in it.
However, the talk is that there is a sizeable share of talented individuals who would come forward to involve in RGV’s stream of work not just for money but for many other reasons. So, the chances are high that once it comes into effect, both the streams will continue to co-exist without any issues.
