For the Indian audience, the genre of war films would only take them to Hollywood as that is the best benchmark. Over the years, many films like ‘Gladiator’ ‘300’ ‘Troy’ ‘Braveheart’ have enthralled the Indian viewers and transported them back to history. But now, one Indian war film is repeating the same magic.
We are talking about the magnum opus ‘Baahubali’ and as Telugus, it is a matter of pride because this project is being shaped with no compromise and a massive budget of 100 crores. Now, the news is that ‘Baahubali’ is going abroad. The team is heading towards Bulgaria which is known for picturesque locations.
Reports from the unit reveal some heavy battle sequences are going to be canned in Bulgaria. Already, big sets have come up in Annapurna Studios and Ramoji Film City where other scenes are being shot. The icing on the cake is that extensive graphics equal to the color grading of the film ‘300’ are being worked on. All eyes are waiting for April 2015 because that’s when the first part of ‘Baahubali’ will arrive.
