Actor Sumanth is contemplating the idea of teaming up with director Shekar Kammula again for the sequel to his most successful Telugu film Godavari (2006). The film is one of the most successful ones in Sumanth’s career and it also bagged Nandi and Filmfare awards. The actor played a simple yet a meaty role in the movie, which has Kamalini Mukherjee as the heroine.
If director Shekar Kammula who is yet to give it a thought, takes a final call, this project may start in mid 2014. And Sumanth’s next film with writer-turned-director Kanchi will hit the floors shortly.
On the other hand, Sumanth’s upcoming Telugu film Emo Gurram Eguravachu, a romantic entertainer directed by Chandra Siddhartha starring Pinky Savika is all ready to hit the screens on 24th January. Sumanth’s last film was Daggaraga Dooramga (2011) in which he played an ad filmmaker.
