No.., there’s no point in relating actor Karthi with Aamir Khan but...
The Telugu versions of Karthi’s Biriyani (Tamil) and Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 (Hindi) are racing up for theatrical release on 20th December. So, the countdown for both the films has begun. On this note, our trade analysts say that, Biriyani is threatened by Dhoom-3 and it’s the biggest release any Bollywood film (Dhoom 3) in AP.
Interestingly in AP, Dhoom-3 is releasing in more number of theatres than Biriyani is many centers. Sai Korrapati, the co-producer of Eega, Andala Rakshasi and Legend is distributing Dhoom 3 in Andhra Pradesh. With his prior experience as distributor, Sai seems to have put-in all the efforts for a grand release. Following the two successful installments of Dhoom franchise, director Vijay Krishna Acharya has casted this film with Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan as baddie and Abhishek Bachchan-Uday Chopra as super cops. Bollywood reigning diva Katrina Kaif will be seen romancing Aamir in the film.
On the hand, Karthi’s romantic film Biriyani, directed by Venkat Prabhu is coming amid high expectations. Here are few USPs of the film – Musician Yuvan Shankar Raja’s 100th album, stunning trailer of the film and svelte beauty Hansika as female lead. K. E. Gnanavel Raja has produced the film under Studio Green banner.
With no Telugu films releasing this Friday, these two dubbing movies are going to occupy majority of theatres in AP.
So, bring on your answer for these questions:
1. Will Biriyani give a much needed break to Karthi?
2. Will our film lovers accept Aamir Khan as bad guy?
