Looks like this is a never ending story for Eega...... it is on a roll and adding many more home runs. Now it is BRAZIL ..... it bags one more award in the Art department at Brazilian Film festival.
Eega is a critically acclaimed blockbuster Telugu movie from the ace director Rajamouli. It not only showed its impact at the national level but also around the globe. This visual wonder from Rajamouli is still dominating the cinema world. The movie won many awards at various international film festivals and the latest in the Art department from the Brazil film festival.
This latest recognition has brought smiles for Art director Ravindar, who bagged the award for this movie. This is the first time a Telugu has received a personal category award in the Brazilian Film Festival. In a brief chit chat with iQlik Movies Ravindar said “I am very happy to receive this award. The entire credit goes to Rajamouli. His inputs have been of immense help.”
It is alleged that Ravindar made many dummy houseflies for this movie. He even went to the extent of creating a housefly from rice and mustard seeds. Approximately 20 of them were made and used in the movie filming. It took him one entire day to make one housefly. The female lead artist in this film is a Micro artist, and the locket she adorns in the movie is also made by Ravindar. Not only this, even the villain Sudeep house is also a set. Ravindar says it took him two months to build this house set.
All this hard work of Ravindar has finally paid off and won him an award at the Brazilian film festival.
