Kajal Aggarwal has taken on a divine role as Goddess Parvathi Devi in the much-anticipated devotional film Kannappa. The actress shared her first look from the film, expressing excitement about starting 2025 on such a spiritual note.

“A dream role indeed! Happy to be starting 2025 on this divine note,” Kajal wrote as she unveiled the poster for her portrayal of Parvathi Devi.

Kannappa, directed by Manchu Vishnu, narrates the tale of Kannappa, the greatest devotee of Lord Shiva and a revered warrior. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar will embody Lord Shiva, with Kajal Aggarwal playing his consort, Parvathi Devi.

Manchu Vishnu leads the cast as the titular character, while other prominent stars like Prabhas and Mohanlal are set to appear in pivotal roles.

This ambitious project, made on a grand scale, promises a rich blend of devotion, mythology, and grandeur. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Kannappa, scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on April 25, 2025.
