Icon Star Allu Arjun was finally released from Chanchalaguda Jail this morning after securing interim bail in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. His father, Allu Arvind, warmly received him, and throngs of enthusiastic fans gathered outside the prison.
The actor's arrest on Friday, followed by a 14-day judicial remand ordered by the Nampally Court, had sent shockwaves across the film industry and his massive fan base.
Despite being granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court, Allu Arjun was kept overnight in Class-1 Manjeera Barracks as undertrial prisoner number 7697. Jail officials cited procedural delays, stating they had not received a properly formatted copy of the court’s interim bail order.
Technical issues with uploading the document online and the unavailability of senior officials further delayed his release.
