Sivakarthikeyan emerged as a star hero in the Tamil film industry by scoring a blockbuster with his recent flick, Amaran. This movie, which was released during the Diwali festive weekend, exceeded all expectations and proved to be a huge blockbuster at the box office. It collected more than Rs. 300 crores and is still having a good run in many areas of Tamil Nadu.

Meanwhile, here is an update about Amaran's much-awaited OTT release. It is already known that Netflix bagged the streaming rights of this movie. According to the grapevine, Netflix is planning to premiere this movie either on December 5 or December 11. An official announcement is expected to be made soon. People who missed watching it in theatres can catch it on the OTT platform very soon.

Amaran was the biopic of Major Mukund Varadarajan. Sai Pallavi played the female lead in this movie. The soulful love story between Major Mukund and his wife remained the major highlight of the film. Both Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi succeeded in making people cry with their heartwrenching performances.
