Netflix is one of the top streaming platforms in the country and very soon, we will be having NTR's Devara and Karthi-Aravind Swamy's Meiyazahagn. The release dates are likely confirmed for the same.
Jr NTR's much-anticipated film Devara: Part 1 is set to make its OTT debut soon, creating excitement among his fans as the blockbuster nears the end of its theatrical run. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film stars Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor in key roles. While the official announcement is still awaited, media reports indicate that Devara: Part 1 will be available for Netflix streaming starting November 8, 2024.
The film will be accessible in multiple regional languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil, catering to a pan-Indian audience.
On the other hand, the critically acclaimed film Meiyazhagan, starring Karthi and Aravind Swamy, will premiere digitally on Netflix on October 27, 2024. Released in Telugu as Satyam Sundaram on September 28, the film performed decently in Tamil but didn’t find as much success in Telugu, largely due to the simultaneous release of Jr NTR’s Devara and its limited market appeal.
Directed by Prem Kumar, known for his work on 96, Meiyazhagan is a soulful drama that revolves around the conversations between two distant cousins on a single night.
