Superstar Rajinikanth, who is currently busy with multiple film projects, will soon collaborate with director Mani Ratnam. Speculation has been rife that clarity about this project might be revealed around Rajinikanth's birthday in December. However, Suhasini, Mani Ratnam's wife and an actress, has clarified that these reports are just rumors.

Suhasini recently stated, "No film is being made with the Rajini-Mani Ratnam combination. We are not even aware of any such project." She humorously remarked that only those who started these rumors would know the truth.

Rajinikanth is celebrating the success of his latest film, which has grossed ₹210 crores at the box office. He is also starring in Coolie, an action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, featuring prominent actors like Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Upendra.

Additionally, Rajinikanth has Jailer 2 lined up and is in talks with two young directors for new projects. It is a big disappointment with the news coming out that the reunion of Rajini and Mani Ratnam is not happening.
