Surrounding the Tirupathi Laddoo issue, Pawan Kalyan expressed his displeasure over comments made by the film celebrities. In this context, Tamil hero Karthi apologized, seemingly resolving the issue. However, Karthi’s apology didn’t sit well with some fans, particularly in Kollywood.

Social media became a hotbed of trolls, with several Twitter accounts becoming active, purposefully targeting Pawan Kalyan. Karthi's new film Satyam Sundaram was released in theatres and Karthi is happily promoting the movie but the Tamilians are still unhappy especially after the Supreme Court of India slammed the AP government in the Tirupathi issue.

Pawan Kalyan, however, quickly turned the situation around with a single Tamil interview. Participating in a nearly hour-long program on a Tamil news channel, Pawan provided much-needed clarity to the Tamil audience, who had misunderstood his stance. Although the anchor had prepared questions in English, assuming there would be a language barrier, Pawan impressed everyone by responding fluently in Tamil, showcasing his strong grasp of the subject matter.

During the interview, Pawan Kalyan addressed various topics that resonate with Tamil audiences, such as Sanatana Dharma, Vijay’s Leo, Vijayakanth’s influence, and references to Anna Durai, MGR, and Jayalalithaa. He also mentioned Yogi Babu's film Mandela, the LTTE, and even used the Madurai dialect to connect further with Tamil viewers. Through these discussions, Pawan successfully clarified his stance on the Laddu controversy, putting the issue to rest.

Now, clips of the interview have gone viral, with Chennai media and prominent figures tweeting in praise of Pawan’s intellectual depth and eloquence. At the time of the interview’s release, Pawan Kalyan was visiting Tirumala, and his presence was trending all over X, marking a significant PR win for the actor-politician.
