Director Koratala Siva is known for being reserved, especially regarding film promotions, despite working with star-studded casts. This was evident in a recent interview he did alongside Jr. NTR, Sidhu Jonnalagadda, and Vishwak Sen for Devara.
In the interview, Koratala made some remarks that people have been interpreting in different ways, with some speculating that he was indirectly addressing past controversies.
"I am accountable for the work assigned to me. If that fear is there for everyone, there will be peace," said Siva.
Many recall Chiranjeevi having a lot of influence on Acharya's direction and that Ram Charan's role was unnecessarily extended. While Chiranjeevi himself clarified in interviews that he only followed Koratala's direction without interference, the situation fueled widespread speculation.
After the failure of Acharya, Koratala stayed out of the limelight, avoiding media interactions for a while. Now, as the release of Devara approaches, Koratala seems rejuvenated and enthusiastic about sharing his thoughts on the film. Some fans on social media are linking his newfound excitement to a desire to move past the Acharya debacle.
