The recent Hindi horror-comedy Stree 2, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, along with Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Pankaj Tripathi, has made history at the box office. The film is performing exceptionally well.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film has surpassed the Hindi version of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan to become the highest-grossing Hindi film. It is a marvelous achievement at the box office.
Released on August 15 alongside two other Hindi films, Stree 2 has accumulated an impressive total of Rs 586 crore. On Tuesday, September 17, the film added Rs 2.65 crore to its collection, enabling it to surpass Jawan's Hindi box office numbers.
The film is now approaching the Rs 600 crore mark and is aiming to surpass Jawan's overall collection, which would require crossing Rs 640 crore.
