The sequel Mathu Vadalara 2 has started on a strong note, following the success of the original Mathu Vadalara in 2019. Directed by Ritesh Rana and featuring Sri Simha, the film has been well-received, with Satya's comedy once again being a highlight.

With a break-even target of ₹4 crores, the film collected ₹2.65 crores in share on its first day. Given the positive audience reception and strong bookings for the second day, it appears highly likely that the film will break even by the weekend, especially if this momentum continues.
