Arshad Warsi is one of the top rated actors in Bollywood cinema who is not new to the audiences in South. Speaking in a recent interview, Arshad Warsi felt that Prabhas' looked like a joker in the first part of Kalki and also hoped that the team would not repeat the mistake in part 2.

However, director Nag Ashwin reacted to these comments. He responded positively with an intention to not spread any hate towards Arshad.

On the other hand, other celebrities like Nani, Sharwanand, Payal Rajput, Ajay Bhupathi and others including the MAA Association condemned the comments of Arshad Warsi.
