Icon Star Allu Arjun's Pushpa was originally supposed to be a one-part film. But through the midway of the shoot, the makers decided to split it into two parts. The first part, Pushpa: The Rise, received mixed talk in Telugu and people were disappointed with the abrupt end. However, the film was received well in North India and overall, became a good hit at the box office. There was a huge hype built for the second part.

However, multiple delays are making those expectations go down. As per the plan, Pushpa 2 was supposed to be released on August 15. Later, it was postponed to December 6. For the last couple of weeks, it has been reported that it may get pushed further.

As of now, Pushpa 2 seems to be on the right track. Currently, they are shooting various actors' scenes. Once Allu Arjun comes back from his overseas trip, he will join the sets. It is heard that he may join in 2-3 days. It is heard that the team has to shoot a climax sequence and a song with Bunny.

According to the latest reports, the makers are now banging their heads on how to conclude this second part. A few months ago, it was reported that there would be a third part as well. The makers expanded the story and initially, they planned to conclude the second part in one way.

In the meantime, the situation changed, there were many rumours about disturbances between Allu Arjun and director Sukumar, there was release pressure and there was also a negative impression among the audience due to continuous delay. Amidst these circumstances, the makers seem to have felt that it is not possible to shoot part 3.

They are now confused about how people will receive the second part if it is revealed that there will be a third part as well. Thus, internal discussions are going on in the team regarding to proceed or shelve the third part. It seems the team feels that it is better to end the second part with a good conclusion rather than a cliffhanger and start the third part by taking some lead later. Let's see how things pan out in the coming days.
