Nani, an icon due to his exceptional performances in hits Dasara (2023) and Hi Nanna (2023), is now aiming to win big at this year’s prestigious awards; the 69th Sobha Filmfare South Awards and 12th SIIMA Awards respectively.

The nominations for both the 2023 Filmfare Award and SIIMA were released recently which made Dasara alongside He Nanna get more nominations ahead of others awarding them. Dasara leads with eight nominations from Filmfare and eleven selections from SIIMA whereas Hi Nanna follows close behind with eight nominations from Filmfare and ten nominations from SIIMA.

Nani, also known as the Natural Star, has been nominated for Best Actor in both films. Other nominees include Keerthy Suresh, the leading actress and Mrunal Thakur, directors Srikanth Odela and Shouryuv. Some well-known artists like music composers Santhosh Narayanan and Hesham Abdul Wahab received major category nominations too.

The 69th Sobha Filmfare Awards South will be held on August 3rd at Hyderabad whereas the 12th edition of SIIMA Awards is scheduled for September 14 & 15 at Dubai’s World Trade Centre. Fans are eager to see if Nani can emerge victorious at these prestigious events.
