Renowned director SS Rajamouli recently unveiled an exciting new addition to the Baahubali universe: an animated web series titled Baahubali: Crown of Blood. Today, the makers announced that the series will be available for streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar starting May 17, along with the launch of the official trailer.
The series delves into the events preceding the betrayal of Baahubali by his brother Bhallaladeva, focusing on the formidable threat posed by Raktadeva to the Mahishmati kingdom. Additionally, the trailer hints at the unexpected role of Katappa, portrayed as the general of Raktadeva's army. There are many curious questions that went unanswered and we have to watch the series for the same.
"Baahubali: Crown of Blood" is the brainchild of SS Rajamouli and Sharad Devarajan. Directed by Kang and Navin John, with Rajamouli, Shobu Yarlagadda, and Devarajan serving as producers, the series is expected to increase the fan base of Baahubali franchise.
