Music maestro Ilaiyaraaja's biopic, featuring Dhanush in the lead role, is set to be a remarkable cinematic venture, with the film's first look being unveiled on March 20.

The launch event witnessed the presence of industry stalwarts such as Kamal Haasan, Vetri Maaran, Gangai Amaren, and Bharathiraja. Directed by Arun Matheswaran and with cinematography by Nirav Shah, the biopic promises to be a tribute to the legendary composer's extraordinary life and musical legacy.

In a heartfelt speech at the launch, Dhanush expressed his deep admiration and reverence for Ilaiyaraaja, stating, "I've always dreamt of acting in two biopics - one is Ilaiyaraaja's and one is Thalaivar Rajinikanth. And one of them is coming true. It's a matter of pride for me." He further elaborated on the profound influence of Ilaiyaraaja's music on his acting journey, highlighting how the maestro's compositions have served as his acting teacher and guiding force.
