Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has been admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital in the early hours of Friday, March 15. The 81-year-old actor reportedly underwent an angioplasty procedure on his leg. Further details regarding his condition are currently awaited.
The news of Bachchan's hospitalization has stirred concern among his legions of fans and well-wishers. Despite the lack of official communication, the veteran actor took to his social media platform, X, around 12 pm on Friday afternoon, where he shared a cryptic post that read, "In gratitude ever..."
This post has since been inundated with 'get well soon' wishes from fans expressing their concern and sending their best wishes for his speedy recovery.
Earlier this year, he underwent surgery for his wrist, indicating ongoing health issues. Notably, Bachchan's health battles also included a month-long hospitalization in 2020 when he contracted COVID-19 during the global pandemic. Unfortunately, Bachchan faced a recurrence of the virus in 2022, further complicating his health journey.
