Following the success of 'Salaar' last weekend, the Tollywood box office witnessed the release of Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's 'Devil – The British Secret Agent' this Friday. The film, set in the backdrop of British India, has generated decent buzz and on the release day, the film opened to a decent number at the box office.
'Devil – The British Secret Agent' grossed 4.92 crores worldwide on its opening day, marking a successful start. The film's official Day 1 collections were shared through a vibrant poster by the makers.
Benefiting from the New Year weekend, the film is expected to continue its strong performance, attracting more viewers to theaters. Directed and produced by Abhishek Nama, the movie features Samyuktha Menon as the female lead, with Malavika Nair playing a key role.
On the other hand, youthful drama Bubble Gum also released in theatres. The film collected a total collection of 0.50 Cr at the box office on the release day. Suma Kanakala's son Roshan made his debut as ana ctor with the film. Ravikanth Perepu directed the film. The film opened to mixed reviews and we have to see if the film makes more money over the weekend.
