Janhvi Kapoor has been cast as the leading lady in NTR's 30th film and is reportedly excited to begin shooting with her favorite hero. However, convincing the actress to sign on for the project was a bit challenging, as she was particular about her pay and demanded Rs 5 crore for this pan-Indian project.
Interestingly, Kiara Advani, who is playing Ram Charan's love interest in director Shankar's upcoming movie, was paid Rs 4 crore plus GST, which is significantly lower than what Janhvi Kapoor will be receiving for her role in NTR's film.
It is worth noting that to secure top Bollywood actresses for films, producers are expected to invest at least Rs 5 crore as the starting point. This has become the norm for securing major Bollywood actresses, and it is a stark contrast to what Tollywood actresses are typically paid, which ranges between Rs 1 and Rs 3 crore.
