Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary actor, sustained a severe injury while filming an action sequence for "Project K." He suffered a muscle tear in his right rib cage, causing him to be rushed to the AIG hospital in Kondapur, Hyderabad. As a result, filming has been halted. In an update on his blog, Bachchan revealed that he is currently resting at his Mumbai home.

“In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured .. rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage .. canceled shoot .. did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home .. strapping has been done and rest been advocated .. yes painful .. on movement and breathing .. will take some weeks they say before some normalisation will occur .. some medication is on also for pain,” he wrote on his blog.

"Project K" is a science fiction thriller featuring Prabhas as the protagonist, with Bachchan playing a crucial role and Deepika Padukone as the female lead. Nag Ashwin is directing the film, which is produced by Ashwini Dutt.
