Director Lingusamy's last film, 'The Warrior,' with Ram Pothineni was a box office disaster, despite receiving support from fellow directors during promotions. However, the director is now planning to make a sequel to one of his hits, 'Awara' (Paiyaa in Tamil), starring Karthi and Tamannaah Bhatia.

For the sequel, Lingusamy is replacing Karthi with Arya and has approached Pooja Hegde for the lead actress role. Hegde has accepted the offer, and an official announcement regarding the film and cast will be made soon. Currently, Hegde is shooting for SSMB28 in Hyderabad under Trivikram's direction.

On the other hand, Pooja Hegde is extremely busy with a crazy lineup of movies. She is also in talks for a couple of interesting projects with star heroes too. We have to see if Pooja has time for this film.
