She will co-star with Varun Dhawan in the series, and a recent photo she shared on social media revealed that she had sustained injuries during filming. She jokingly captioned the photo "perks of action," while Varun also shared a picture of himself with a bloody forehead, writing "Rough night."

The show's creators recently confirmed Samantha's involvement, and the Indian version is being directed by Raj and DK, who has gained recognition for their work on 'Farzi'.
