Sad news for the family of K Viswanath as his wife, Jayalakshmi, passed away due to age-related ailments. She was 86 years old. The couple was married for many years, and K Viswanath had often mentioned that his wife was his pillar of support.

Jayalakshmi was rushed to a private hospital in Jubilee Hills after she fell ill on Sunday evening. Despite undergoing treatment, she passed away, leaving the family devastated. The couple had three children, one daughter, and two sons who are settled in other professions.

K Viswanath had married Jayalakshmi when he was just 20 years old, and at that time, he was not yet settled in his profession. However, he had followed his parents' advice and married Jayalakshmi. He had also mentioned that he never discussed films or his work at home. Jayalakshmi was always supportive of his work and would only give positive feedback on his films.

The family is going through a difficult time as they had lost K Viswanath just 24 days before Jayalakshmi's demise.
