Hera Pheri is one of the iconic franchises in the history of Hindi cinema. But Hera Pheri and Hera Pheri 2 are big blockbusters at the box office. The franchise enjoys a massive fan following among the audience. Several memes are also made from these movies.

Now, the third part of this franchise got kickstarted. According to the B-Town reports, the original trio of Hera Pheri, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal started shooting for the movie in Mumbai the other day.

Initially, it was reported that Kartik Aaryan will be replacing Akshay Kumar in the Hera Pheri 3. This news received severe backlash from fans. Thus, it looks like the makers decided to cast Akshay back in the role of Raju.

However, there is no official confirmation yet from the makers about the start of the shoot. Even the director's name remains unknown as of now. Firoz Nadiadwala, who produced the first two parts, returns as the producer for this new instalment as well.
