Everyone expected that the film RRR would grab multiple nominations but unfortunately, it got selected only under one category. Unfortunately, Jr NTR missed out to be in the Best Hero Category Nominations.

Besides this, the RRR song “Naatu Naatu” has already gone on to win India’s first Golden Globe in the Best Original Song category earlier this month. So, we have to wait and see whether the same will happen with the Oscars.

On the other hand, director SS Rajamouli has opened up on the making of the movie. Rajamouli revealed that there are two films that served as an inspiration for him to make the magnum opus.

"Maya Bazar and Pathala Bhairavi movies served me as an inspiration for the making of RRR. There are many scenes from these two films that helped me as an inspiration to make RRR," revealed Rajamouli.
