The television channel Star MAA TV has decided to cancel the second season of the OTT version of "Bigg Boss Telugu" due to its poor performance in the previous season.

As a result, Nagarjuna Akkineni, who hosted the first OTT version and earned over 20 crores from both the TV and OTT versions, will not be returning as the host and will instead turn his attention to his acting career. He has a new film project in the works, directed by Bejawada Prasanna Kumar.

Bigg Boss OTT first season was aired on Disney+ Hotstar and Bindu Madhavi won the title. The show received mixed reviews from everyone but in the end, it failed to hold the audiences for a long time.
