Despite the recent failure of Liger, the latest film from director Puri Jagannadh and featuring Vijay Deverakonda, producers are still eager to work with the actor. Reports indicate that despite some directors like Puri Jagannadh dropping out of projects with Vijay, and others like Sukumar shifting their focus to other actors, producers are still willing to pay the actor a high fee for his next film.

In fact, he is being offered 45 crore rupees for his next film, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri of Jersey fame.

It is believed that Vijay's non-theatrical revenue and his strong brand value are the reasons behind this high remuneration. Currently, Vijay is keeping a low profile. The new film, which is being produced by Sithara Entertainments, will feature Vijay as a cop.
