Popular producer Dil Raju postponed the film Varasudu to 14th January from 11th January. Varisu is the title of the Tamil version. Dil Raju said that this decision comes in with the intention of satisfying the Telugu audience's wish desire to watch Big heroes films first, but the reports suggest that multiple theatres shall be allocated to 'Vaarasudu' for postponing it for three days. Meanwhile, there is the buzz about the pre-release event.

Dil Raju said that he shall be conducting a pre-release event in Telugu, too, and shall invite 'Thalapathy' Vijay himself as the chief guest for the event. As of now, there is no clarity or announcement on the same again.

Directed by Vamsi Paidipalli, the film is produced by 'Dil' Raju under his maiden banner 'Sri Venkateswara Creations', marking his debut in Tamizh cinema. After a prolonged debate over the release dates, the makes have finally settled to arrive on 14th January.
