Debuting against fellow debutant Vaishnav Tej in Uppena, Krithi Shetty delivered a blockbuster right away. She also received immense popularity and craze among youth and was also acclaimed for her performance in this romantic drama.

With this success, she immediately got to sign films with big actors like Nani for Shyam Singh Roy and Naga Chaitanya for Bangarraju and continued her streak of hits. But recently, she acted in three flop films namely Macherla Niyojikavargam, The Warrior and Aa Ammai Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali out of which, the former two films were big-budget movies.

Due to this, Krithi has slowed down a bit and is being careful with the selection of her scripts. She said that she would only sign a film if the story is nice even if she is offered a high remuneration. As of now, she is acting with Tovino Thomas in a Malayali periodic drama.
