After scoring a blockbuster with Krack in 2021, director Gopichand Malineni teamed up with Nandamuri Balakrishna for his next film Veera Simha Reddy. This action entertainer features Shruti Haasan as the heroine. The pre-release event of the film was held last night in Ongole.

Speaking at the event, Gopichand said that directing a film with Balakrishna is his biggest achievement in life. He said that he showcased Balayya on the screen the way fans want to see him. He also thanked producers Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni for their unconditional support throughout the making of this movie.

Gopichand said that Malayalam actress Honey Rose played a pivotal and wonderful role in the movie. He stated that Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will impress in the role of Bhanumathi. He also said that Kannada actor Duniya Vijay excelled in the role of the antagonist. He thanked the entire team that worked hard for the movie. Veera Simha Reddy is slated for a grand release on January 12.
