Director Prashanth Neel, who scored massive success with the KGF franchise, teamed up with Prabhas for his next film Salaar. Right from its announcement, Salaar has been making a huge noise across the country. People are highly excited to watch the deadly combination of Prashanth Neel and Prabhas.

Meanwhile, we now hear an interesting update about the film. Salaar's producer Vijay Kirgandur stated that 80 per cent of the shoot has been finished. Only the climax portions are left to be shot and they are expected to be wrapped up in a couple of months.

Vijay said that the last schedule will be held in January 2023. After the shoot, Prashanth will get busy with the post-production work. Salaar features Shruti Haasan as the female lead. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Jagapathi Babu play key roles in it. Ravi Basrur is composing the music for it. Salaar is slated for a worldwide release on September 28, 2023.
