Power Star Pawan Kalyan and comedian Ali used to be close friends. The latter used to be a part of various Pawan films until Katamarayudu. But after that, differences emerged between them and they drifted apart. They aren't even making any public appearances together.

Recently, Ali's daughter got married. Various celebrities like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and Roja attended the wedding ceremony. But Pawan was not seen at the event. Rumours in the media stated that Ali didn't invite Pawan to the event and thus, he skipped it.

In a recent episode of his talk show Alitho Saradaga, anchor Suma asked Ali about his rumoured differences with Pawan. Responding to the same, Ali said a few people purposely created the gap between them. Ali also said that he did invite Pawan to his daughter's wedding. But Pawan couldn't attend due to a flight issue. Ali said that things are fine between them but they won't be shown in the media.
