Samantha Ruth Prabhu got separated from her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya last year. After her separation, Samantha had to face a lot of negativity. Many people have also opined that her career is finished.
 

Now, she has shut everyone's mouth with the collections of her latest release Yashoda. After a long time, Samantha made her big screen comeback in a lead role with Yashoda. Directed by Hari and Harish, this film was released last Friday.
 

On the first day, Yashoda collected more than Rs. 3.8 crores share worldwide. In the USA alone, the film earned $200k on the first day. These figures are higher than the opening day collections of Naga Chaitanya's Thank You and Nagarjuna's The Ghost.
 

Thank You earned Rs. 3.1 crore on its first day whereas The Ghost collected Rs. 1.3 crores on opening day. Yashoda did well on the second day too, by collecting a share of around Rs. 2.8 crores.
