Samantha-starrer Yashoda got a decent opening on its release day. This action thriller hit the screens yesterday in multiple languages. It got good collections in the Telugu states and overseas.

According to the trade reports, Yashoda collected a total gross of Rs. 3 crores on day one in Telugu states. In the USA, the film collected around $200k including the Thursday premiere shows and Friday shows. Considering it is a female-oriented film, these numbers are good. But as the breakeven figure is around 22 crores, the film has to do well in the coming days.

As the mouth talk is decent, the makers are expecting Yashoda to do well this weekend. If the collections on Saturday and Sunday are good, the momentum may get continued on the weekdays too.
