Icon star Allu Arjun is unstoppable at the award events now. The stylish star is currently awarded with the 'Indian of the Year 2022' award at the CNN-News18 event.

On Wednesday, the actor was named the CNN-News18 Indian Of The Year in the entertainment category for his performance in Pushpa: The Rise. The actor is extremely happy and shared the same, while receiving the award on the stage.

Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Smriti Irani presented the award to Allu Arjun and complimented him for the performance in the film. Allu Arjun got his first ever award in North India and he revealed that he is proud to be a part of Indian cinema.

"I am very glad. We do have a lot of differences like North and South. But, when this movie was made, everyone celebrated it across the nation. We are all the sons and daughters of the movie industry. We are all proud of Indian cinema and we could be able to serve the entertainment to the audiences during these tough times," said Allu Arjun.
