According to the buzz, the popular television channel Star Maa bagged the satellite rights of Salaar for a whopping price. However, there is no official announcement regarding this news yet.

Salaar features Shruti Haasan as the female lead. Jagapathi Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran are playing other important roles in the film. Vijay Kiragandur is producing the project under his banner Hombale Films. Salaar will have a worldwide release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on September 28, 2023.
