Megastar Chiranjeevi's Godfather hit the screens on October 5 and is having a great run in the Telugu states. It had a simultaneous release in Hindi as well. The presence of Salman Khan in a guest role is pulling Hindi audiences to the theatres.

According to the reports, the response to the Hindi version is good as well. Thus, the makers have added additional screens in North India. As per the reports, around 600 screens have been added to Godfather's Hindi version in North India. This move will pull more audiences to the theatres.

On the whole, Chiru made a grand comeback with Godfather after scoring a debacle with Acharya. Directed by Mohan Raja, Godfather features Satya Dev and Nayanthara in the other key roles. Thaman composed the music for this film. Godfather is an official remake of the 2019 Malayalam film Lucifer. The original version featured Mohanlal as the lead hero.
