Megastar Chiranjeevi was heavily trolled for doing the film, Acharya. Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie ended as a big disappointment at the box office. However, many think that Chiranjeevi's involvement in the script and direction made the film flop. But Chiru denies the same.

Recently, Megastar Chiranjeevi opened up on the same and said that he is not disappointed by Acharya's failure.

"The failure of Acharya did not affect me at all. Because it was the director's choice. We did whatever he asked us to do. But, my only regret was that Acharya was the first combination of Ram Charan and me, and it did not work," reportedly said Chiranjeevi.

Acharya also had Pooja Hegde, Sonu Sood, Tanikella Bharani, and others. We have to see if Koratala respond to the same comments.
