Star beauty Samantha who is all set to come up with Guna Shekar's directorial 'Shakuntlam' also signed a woman-centric action thriller, 'Yashoda' under the direction of director duo Hari and Harish. The recently released motion poster of the film also impressed the audience. Now, according to the latest buzz, Sam is going to be seen in a never-seen-before role in the film.

It seems like she got trained under international action choreographer Yannick Ben who previously worked for Hollywood movies like Transporter 3, Inception, Dunkirk & Bollywood films Raees, Tiger Zinda Hai etc. He also worked with Samantha earlier in Family Man 2 series. The duo are reportedly going to showcase some thrilling action episodes in Yashoda as well.

Touted to be a survival thriller, the film is about an imprisoned woman. The film will get released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages.
