Despite getting postponed several times, Karthikeya 2 finally hit the theatres on 13th August 2022 and became a biggest blockbuster at the box office. The film even made a record by grossing more than 100 crores collections at the box office.

Also 'Karthikeya 2' epilogue hinted that there will be up third part as well but now a producer of the film Abhishek Agarwal gave a huge shock to the audience by saying that the third part of the film will not happen anytime soon.

"Before commencing Karthikeya 3, we need to do a lot of research. The script has to get ready. It will take at least 2 years for any work to begin this," said Abhishek.

This came out as a huge disappointment for the fans. We have to see when the film will actually begin.
