Touted to be a sports drama, the makers of Liger have aggressively promoted the film and finally released the movie amid high expectations on August 25, 2022.

But the movie has been receiving a lukewarm responses from the audience from day on itself. Before the release of the film, Puri Jagannath announced that he will come up with a sequel for 'Liger' but as the movie ended up as a biggest disaster, we can say that there is no chance that Puri or Vijay Devarakonda is going to revive it.

But it seems like Vijay Devarakonda said that he will think about the film Janagana Mana only after completing the shooting of his upcoming film 'Khushi' under the direction of Shiva Nirvana. Vijay wants to take some time before resuming the project.

The industry is speculating that Vijay has kept Puri on waiting mode, because of the result of Liger.
